Kaida had her eyes shut, the bow moving against the strings of a mahogany violin, making a beautful sound echo through out the near empty auditorium. The seats, rising up as they went further, had a few students talking in a group near the back, and two older women sitting near the front, where the stage was on which Kaida stood, playing her violin.
Kaida finished the slow song, and kept her violin up for a few moments with her eyes open now, before setting it down from her shoulder. The two women clapped, and the older of the two stood. She was wearing very non-professional clothing, with colourful clothes of green and purple, and a green and purple feather tapped to her glasses. She looked up to Kaida "that was absolutely astounding Ms. Hoshiko, I would love to hear from you again." Letting her hands clap together three times, the students in the back looked up.
"Kaida, we will see if your try-out is good enough for you, I do believe this has been the best we have heard so far." The other woman said, nodded to Kaida who then nodded back before putting away her violin and bow in it's black carry case. She put it over her shoulder, and started towards the door "Come on kiddies, it's time to go!" the woman said to the students in the back and clapped her hands loudly for them to jump up and start towards the opposite door Kaida was leaving from.
Kaida walked out and started heading towards her locker, which was right near the south door heading in the school. She opened it with the slight clattering of metal and suddenly felt a hand on her shoulder and somebody breathing hot air near her ear "Come with me, put that in there" a man's voice that she didn't recongnise, yet did, whispered in her ear. She did as he said for her to do, and turned to the man who had spoke to her.
The man was tall, and appeared to be very muscular. His dark hair was greying, but his tanned skin showed no signs of being older than 40. He pushed on her shoulder for her to turn around "Don't look at me, just walk. Back to where you were" he said to her, keeping his hand on her shoulder.
People walking by must have thought that this man was a relative of hers, as almost everybody knew that her father's side had people with this man's appearance in it. They just looked and looked away, not worrying.
Soon, they reached the auditorium, and Kaida opened the door "Don't scream like your mother did" the voice said as he shoved her through the door to the now empty auditorium.
Kaida had fallen on her hands and knees from the sudden shove, but knew better than to be low on the ground when possibly in danger. She stood up quickly and checked to make sure that her skirt wasn't folded in any embarrassing positions before looking at the man calmly. There was something glinting in the little light that was coming from the stage area in his hand, it looked almost metallic. "That's exactly how your mother used to look at me!"
Kaida's eyes widened when she remembered what he had said to her when he first shoved her in the auditorium, and she relized why she reconized his appearace.
"You... killed my mother"
