Sakura made her way too the zoo. She had not been here in a while, if she remembered correctly it had been five years? Take away a year or two. The sun was bright as she walked past the crowds of people. Kids ran around smiles on their faces as they watched the animals in their cages. Sakura smiled, watching little kids acting cute always had that effect on her.
As the day wore on she started feeling tired, and a bit hot from the heat. She looked hungrily at the ice cream sold at a nearby stand. Surely one ice cream cone wouldn't hurt. "Hello, can I have that one?" she said pointing to a picture of a banana split. It was a bit expensive but probably worth it.
"Thanks." she said smiling brightly as she took her ice cream. She continued walking yet eating her ice cream, Stoppping once every while to look at an animal. Currently she stood in front of a Tiger's cage. She liked big cats, they seemed majestic, strong, and very powerful. She wtched as they walked around. One of them, a cub stopped and stared at her. Skura giggled, "No, no ice cream for you." she said as she turned to leave before provoking the small creature.
"I am so sorry." she cried when she bumped into the person who was behind her. She juggled the ice cream, hoping nothing had spilled on the floor, or on the person.

She sat on a bench; piled next to her were a messenger bag and a few textbooks. Kyo watched as families moved from exhibit to exhibit, gazing at exotic animals. She smiled, remembering when she was little, she went about the zoo and pointed out animals as she walked up to their habitats. Kyōmi stood up, grabbed her belongings and decided to relive those memories. Most of the Zoo was all too familiar to her. Some stuff was new and some stuff was just plain old.
She felt a smile growing on her face. 'I should start coming here more often...' She thought after realizing that the only memories she could remember were learning how to paint and visiting the Zoo every few years.
Kyōmi walked past the Tiger cage, but didn't look into it. She wasn't paying attention when a stranger bumped into her. The stranger apologized and Kyo returned the apology, adding the fact that she wasn't paying attention to what she was doing. 'Daydreaming, most likely...' Kyōmi looked down at her school uniform, making sure it wasn't stained with anything. Luckily it wasn't.

Sakura straitened up, she held on to the ice cream tightly as she looked at the girl. The familiar face was recognizable. Judging by her school uniform she knew she had seen her around at school, but she couldn't recall her name. Oh the troubles of a teenage girl's life.
"I'm sorry again." she said once more. next time she would defenitely pay more attention to where she was heading, afterall having an accident this way would not be fun. Especially for the person she would bump into. The sun felt hot and with her long hair it was not pleasant. "I'm Yoshida, Sakura." she said before reaching back. She grabbed her purple hair and tied it into a ponytail. The fresh air hitting the back of her neck and back felt refreshing on this warm winter day.

As she watched her pull her purple hair back into a ponytail, Kyōmi wondered what it was like to have long hair. But, she had long hair before, when she was younger of course. She didn't know why, but she preferred the masculine styles of clothing over the feminine and girly. The first thing she got rid of was her long hair, then the girly clothes, and the girly theme of her room was the last to go.
Since her make over, no one was able to recognize her. A few students from her high school mistook her for a boy and a new student. Kyōmi was okay with being mistaken for a male; she'd rather be a boy than be a girl.
"Kimura... Kyōmi" She said. Sakura's name sounded familiar. Just a little bit. She rarely paid attention to anyone in her school and barely knew anyone there. She had one or two friends, which was enough for her. Kyo didn't want to end up knowing every single student, plus the teachers. Her shyness wouldn't allow her anyway.
