Ahiru arrived at home with his new roommate, his childhood friend Setsumi. He unlocked the door and let her in first. He stood there for a while, looking at the sunset before letting out a big sigh, then he walked inside closing the door behind him.
He saw that Setsumi had started to unpack. He asked," Do you need any help Setsumi?" She replied, "That would be nice. Just help me with the ones that say fragile on it." Ahiru laughed and said, "Oh yeah..you were pretty clumsy back then, I didn't know you were still clumsy." She stood up and turned around. Setsumi was blushing and had a pouty expression, then slapped him. Ahiru surprised at what happened, he didn't even feel the pain. All he could think about was how cute she looked. He said,"It was a joke.." He helped her unpack and straighten everything up. After, he offered to buy her dinner at the local ramen shop. They went ordered their food and caught up on past times. Once they were finished they thanked the owner, left a generous tip, and went home. At the house he was a total gentleman and let her have the bed. Ahiru fell right asleep on the floor. Setsumi laid down for a bit then fell asleep.
The morning came and Ahiru woke up to the smell of delicious food. He looked on the table and breakfast was ready. Setsumi said "This is my way of showing thanks. Thank you for taking me in..." She started to tear, Ahiru sat in front of her and patted her head softly."Isn't that what friends are for? " he said. She calmed down and they ate breakfast. After Ahiru finished eating, he got ready for school. He finished getting ready and they rushed out the door. They talked on the way to school about what classes they like and dislike.
They arrived at school. Ahiru walked Setsumi to class then went to his class. Today he wasn't late but had a few minutes to spare. Ahiru went over to her and asked "Are you free sometime this weekend? I was thinking we could have a chat over some cups of tea. I would like to be friends with you." He smiled then went to his desk and sat down, waiting for the bell to ring.

[/color] She didn't really have much to do that day, just help teach a senior kendo class at eleven. That was pretty much what she did on weekends, taught classes, did homework, and practiced her instruments as well as taken care of them. She had a rather boring weekend. The word 'friend' seemed to make her happy, as her eyes showed it, but her expression didn't change other than that. That seemed to make her happy though, which was good. She didn't get happy very often, since her mom was stabbed. That just seemed to destroy her life. It split up her family, gave her a fear of seeing blood, and of going into her old room, where her mother was stabbed as she sat in the closet. After the class was over, which she spent doing her work, she went over to Ahiru's desk after putting her things away, "What time would be good for you?" She asked him, hugging her books to her chest and leaning most of her weight on one of her legs.[/ul][/blockquote] |

During class he was deliberately thinking of a way to get away from Setsumi on Sunday. Since she lives with him now, she likes to follow him around a lot. He is suspicious of that and just thinks to himself, there's no way Setsumi likes me that way. He can tell she gets jealous when other girls talk to him, but he just brushes it off. She was more like a little sister he never had and a close friend.
Ahiru slightly surprised, looked up at Kaida, smiled then said,"I'm free after one in the afternoon. Where would you you like to meet?"

"That should be fine" he replied. Ahiru started thinking, what places should they go to. He had a frantic look on his face almost like he was under pressure. He decided to not stress himself over this until he got home.
As school finished Setsumi was waiting by the gate as usual. She always complained about him making her wait. She sure did act like she was very close, which was true but they were just friends. They would get glared at because of Setsumi's affection towards him. She would always wrap her arms around his and hug him close. Ahiru didn't like it at all but him being the nice natured person he is, he just let's her be happy the way she is.
Finally they arrive at home. Ahiru being tired went to lie down on his bed and think about what he wanted to do on Sunday which was two days away. He fell asleep after about twenty minutes of thinking and was ready for the weekend.
[OOC: sorry it took too long. I was in a slump. Hehe °_<]

Saturday morning arrived being woken up by the sun shining on Ahiru's face. He let out a yawn as he stretched. He thought it was a good day to go out for some tea, movies, and to shop. He did all that with Setsumi to make her happy and she was.
Sunday~~
Ahiru got out of bed and made breakfast. As usual he had to get used to making enough for two people. It has only been about a week since Setsumi started living with him. He served breakfast at the table, they had a nice chat while eating. Setsumi offered to wash the dishes so Ahiru could relax.
Ahiru still had 4 hours before meeting Kaida, so he decided to play some video games. He played for a couple of hours then stopped. He then turned to Setsumi and said, "I'm headed out to hang out with a friend. So take care of the house for me." Taking his usual route he walked to the station , bought his ticket, and went through the turnstile. Down the escalator he went and waited for the next train. He put his headphones in his ears and played the music on his phone. The train arrived 10 minutes later, he boarded and the train left. It took him 15 minutes to arrive at the shopping district.
He left the train station and started walking to the cafe which was about 4 blocks away. He was early so he spent an hour window shopping. Then he went to the cafe and waited outside.

Ahiru was dressed in a grey blazer with a navy blue plaid button-up shirt underneath, and a pair of vintage grey slim jeans, and casual black shoes. He turned around and saw Kaida, a little surprised he stumbled back a bit but regained his footing. He apologized for his clumsiness and said,"I was thinking we could shop around a bit, watch a movie, and have some tea." He paused for a few seconds and asked, "If that's fine with you, shall we go?" Ahiru being the gentleman he is let her walk ahead at first, as he caught a better look at her outfit. He thought it was very beautiful and it really suited her.
They both were walking around walking into and looking around various shops. While they were walking Ahiru complimented Kaida on her outfit. He then said, "We're almost at the movie theatre, I heard there was a good romance-comedy movie out right now. Would you like to see it?" Ahiru kept walking slowing his normal pace so Kaida can keep up.
Ahiru suddenly stopped as he saw something in this anime store that his friend liked. He thought for a bit if he should get it for her, but he realized she would cling to him even more if he did. Ahiru started walking again, a few minutes passed and now they were in front of the movie theatre. He smiled at Kaida and asked, "Do you want to go see the movie?"

[/i] She responded and began walking, noticing that he wanted her to walk first. She looked in the stores, but she didn't go in unless he seemed to want something. Kaida thanked him for the compliment as they looked at the various stores. Sometimes it seems like there's a new one everyday, or the move around alot, or something. Everything catches her curiousity as if it were brand new. "Sure, we can go see the movie if you would like." She responded, looking up at the theatre entrance, "I can buy your ticket if you would like." She was already planning on buying lots of candy. Although Kaida didn't actually seem like the type, she had a sweet tooth. She loved things like cotton candy especially, and milk duds. Kaida knew not to spend too much money. Taking care of things like saving up their money ran in her family, thus why they were now rather wealthy. Kaida had gotten this, and had a habit of not getting things, even if she wanted them, but candy was one of those things where she would go all out on. You could take anything she owned (except for her mother's things) if she could get some candy. Let's just say that was her secret obsession. People wouldn't have guessed it on her personality though. [/ul][/blockquote] |

Standing there with Kaida, Ahiru turned to her as she offered to buy his ticket. He froze for a quick second and snapped back into reality, and responded saying, " No, I'll buy both of our tickets. I feel like its rude for the girl to pay for a boy, so I'll buy your ticket." Ahiru lined up to buy the tickets keeping sight of where Kaida was. It only took 10 minutes til he was able to purchase the tickets. Ahiru walked back over to Kaida and handed her ticket. "Here's you're ticket Kaida. We have another hour to wait until the movie starts. Would you like to go to the arcade to pass the time?" Ahiru asked.
A few stores away from the theater was the arcade. Ahiru went inside to the claw machines. He saw a couple of cute plush animals he wanted to get. His first target, a medium-sized purple and white kitten. He tried about 6 times before he actually won it. Next he was targeting a large panda bear, luckily he won it on his third try. Lastly, he saw a Teddy bear holding a baby bear . This was the hardest of them all, he tried atleast 15 times until he finally succeeded. He was thinking of giving one to Kaida. Forty five minutes passed after all this happened. Ahiru asked a worker for a bag for the stuffed animals so they won't get dirty. He went back to Kaida and said, "Let's go back to the theater to get our snacks and seats." Ahiru went let Kaida walk first and he caught up pretty quickly.
At the theater Ahiru lined up to get a drink and some popcorn. After, he waited for Kaida at the hallway with all the theaters. When she arrived he pointed in the direction of their theater, which was number 8. Being the gentleman man he opened the door for Kaida, and let her sit first. He sat next to her and chatted until the movie started. He noticed the amount of sweets Kaida had bought and said, " You must really love sweets since you bought so much." He laughed a little afterwards.
During the movie there were those moments that made you laugh and cry. Ahiru reared up during the sad parts. He was scared that Kaida would make fun of him since he is a softy. At the end he was crying so much because it was a happy ending. Ahiru wiped away his tears as the credits were still going then turned to Kaida and said, " I'm sorry if I cried too much...it's a little embarrassing." After they left the theater room Ahiru asked, " Would you like to have some tea before going home?"

[/i] She said, then she thanked him for buying the ticket once he gave it to her, holding it in her hand. She then followed him to the arcade, where she watched him play the claw game for a bit. She didn't really feel like spending her money there, because when she did start spending money at arcades she spent a lot of it. Kaida followed him back to the theatre, and when he commented on her supply of candy, she pulled out a jaw breaker "I wouldn't say love..." She said and stuck the mini jaw breaker in her mouth, "Would you like any?" She asked him, holding out some of the candy for him to take if he wanted. Kaida didn't show her emotions easily, but she watched the movie, and the way Ahiru cried during some parts slightly surprised her. "I don't mind." She said to him after he apologized for his tears, "I'm sure that many other people did when you did too" Her tone sounded slightly hurmoured though. Kaida nodded, "Sure" She reponded to his offer of tea, happy to stay out of her house for as long as possible. She found her house boring, even though it was big. It had a forest behind it too, where she was usually found by a lake with a bunch of turtles in it. [/ul][/blockquote] |

" I guess I'll have a bit of chocolate" he said while reaching for a small chocolate bar. Ahiru asked, "Would you like some popcorn as well?" Ahiru thought to himself to figure out what Kaida really is like since he noticed she didn't show much emotions. He was determined to find out.
"Are you sure it's okay?", he asked. He was slightly embarrassed as she spoke humorously. " I guess you're right..." he said while sighing with relief.
Ahiru lead the way as he found a cafe to go to for tea the other day. It was a few stores past the arcade. He stopped in front of the shop as a young girl greeted him. The young girl asked " Would you like a table for two?" Ahiru said "Yes please." Ahiru followed the girl inside to the table letting Kaida go first. He sat down and looked at the menu. "I'm going to have matcha & milk tea with some toast. What will you order? " he said.
