She knelt down and pet the cat, then went to the counter. "Can I see your puppies?" She wanted to get one for her cousin, Kaida, but she hadn't had any luck yet. She knew that her seemingly serious cousin had a secret, which was that she actually quite liked dogs. Tsu knew that Kaida wanted one, but wouldn't get one out of fear of it getting hurt or killed. The store clerk nodded happily and led her to a separate room with puppies in it. "Cute!" She looked around, but left soon enough, finding that they were all too small. Kaida would want a bigger one that wouldn't get lost as easily in her large house. She sighed and slumped down, walking down the line of stores to the drop off for the planes. It appeared that a few people from Canada had just gotten out of the plane, and one youngster looking for luggage smiled and waved at Tsubaki, who smiled and waved back. "Cute!" She thought as she responded to the child, then she sat on a stone bench, wondering what she was supposed to do now. Maybe she'd find somebody who looked like a highschool student and show them around.[/ul][/blockquote]

Riku sat in, glancing down the isle. Riu changed his position as he felt the plane's wheels touchdow. A few minuted later they were ready to get off. Riku opened up the overhead storage compartment and carefully lifted a few things out. The line was big, and it was slow. Riku's attention glared around the line up. Most of the people were from Canada like him, but they were all older or had families who were going on vacation Riku did stick out. Riku was being literally shoved around as people sqeuzed through and around the airport.
"Where do I go?" Riku slightly spoke to himself gazing around the crowded airport. Riku was pretty sure they would send someone to pick him up, wouldn't they? Riku was standing in the middle of passing citizens, he looked rather flustered to probably not the best idea.

She spoke to him over the chatter, then grabbed his wrist. She'd rather he didn't do much, but she knew that stories of bad things happening to people in Japan at places like this, and this boy sure wasn't Canadian "Come with me! We'll get your stuff!" She laughed and pulled him from the crowd. He had obviously caught her attention. Once they were out of the crowd, Tsubaki led him to a more clear spot and smiled "You know how to speak Japanese, right?" She had just realized he might not have even understood a thing she had said. She then decided to try saying it in english, but she definitely didn't know it. "Uh... you... learn... Japan?" She face palmed herself. That wasn't right! "Uh... hmm..." She decided she might as well just try to make him understand her question, and she pointed to her mouth. She laughed and started speaking in her own language again "If you know both then I must sound stupid!" She laughed and watched the people crowd around the area they pick up their things. "I'm Tsubaki, I guess I might as well show you around, since you're alone" She didn't bother trying to speak in English again.[/ul][/blockquote]

Riku was rather flustered having no idea where to go or what to do. Riku was surprised as someone came up to talk to him, feeling rather shy right now he didn't speak back just yet. Riku was surprised yet again as she grabbed his wrist, he hadn't ven met her yet and she was being quite impulsive, but he didn't mind at all. "Yes I can speak Japanese" Riku smiled to her. "It was funny seeing you try to speak English though"
"Are you who they sent? Umm from the school?" Riku wasn't sure even if they were gonna send someone to pick him up, he would be pretty screwed if they didn't or if she didn't show up either. "Oh! I'm Riku, Thought I would tell you my name" Riku looked around the crowds of people, they all looked so busy and frantic compared to him.

She laughed and folded her arms across her stomach "I'm Tsubaki, it's nice to meet you!" She responded happily, then bounced a little. "School? Which school? You go to school here?" She stopped bouncing and tilted her head a little. "I go to school, and I have a cousin who goes to school... Are you a transfer student?" She is definitely talkative "My cousin's school was supposed to get transfer students... They have a bunch of money there so they can pay for stuff like that" Yeah, Kaida and Tsubaki's family was rich, but Tsu didn't have much money and she lived on her own. "It's cleared up a bit, I think we can go look for your stuff Riku!" She smiled and grabbed his wrist once again, skipping towards where most of the Canadians were standing, and she elbowed her way through to the front and started looking for a tag with his name on it.[/ul][/blockquote]

Riku listened to her ramble, his attention swiched to the various halls and shops around them. He nodded as she said a few things about transfer students. Riku began to glance around again, the airport was rather big and slightly exciting for an airport. Riku yet again surprised at her grabbing his wrist, she seemingly plowed her way through the crowd before getting to the bags.
Riku looked at the passing bags, he had gotten one large bag that rolled on wheels, and guitar case with a guitar in it of course. "Oooh That one is mine" Riku pointed to the guitar case coming in near Tsubaki. Riku had already spotted the other bag and quickly snached it up and set it down on the ground.

She got a bunch of looks from yelling, but she just smiled innocently. Once they stopped looking at her, they looked at each other, wondering who she had yelled to. Obviously, Tsu taken the lazy way out. Tsubaki groaned and picked the case up again, knocking people out of her way and grabbing Riku's bag and elbowing her way out once again, hoping he would follow her. She then spoke to him, even if he wasn't there "So, would you like to find out where you're staying first so we can put your things there?" she asked, then put the guitar case on the ground next to him instead, hoping she wouldn't have to carry it. She wasn't the best with fragile stuff.[/ul][/blockquote]

Riku looked around th big crowd, he wasn't good with large groups. Riku could get confused lost or various other worst case scenarios. Riku carefully servueyed the area, picking out the right direction through the crowd. Although this plan of action was soon obsolite becuase of Tsubaki's yelling. The people around him practically made a way for him.
Riku glared at her for a brief moment. "Yeah that would fine" Riku said this after she asked of where he might stay, that was weird. Where would he stay anyway? "How do you suppose we find out that?" Riku slightly spoke under his breath but she might be able to hear him.

She asked, putting her hands behind her back and standing on the balls of her feet, slightly rocking. "If you're going to my cousin's school, we can probably stick you in a hotel that's between our places, or even at her house" She laughed a little "Kaida has a prety big place... but the rooms aren't full, so she and Uncle Ryoki lend them to people who need them. Nice, huh?" She started walking on her heels in a slightly bouncy walk. Even before Kaida's mother had been killed, they always had room in their house. The house was passed on through the generations on her father's side, and was going to stay that way for a while. Earlier in her father's line, the family was large enough to fill the rooms, but now there were just the two of them, and the maid sometimes slept there too. "My cousin even has a maid in her house!" Tsubaki added, turning around to make sure Riku was following her to where they could get a taxi or get on a bus, or just go walk around, which Tsubaki preferred. It was cheaper.[/ul][/blockquote]

Riku looked around the airport and then back to Tsubaki. "That sounds good" Riku wasn't that picky but he did lik his personal space. Riku picked up his things and then followed Tsubaki. "So how big is this city again?" A few people passed by Riku pushing him along which made him drop a few of things. Riku grabbed things as fast as possible trying to make sure he had them before Tsubaki left him alone.
Riku wasn't someone to make a fuss about things so he didn't say anything to the man who had pushed him and just tried to cach up with Tsubaki. "Sorry about that" Riku glanced back at the moving crowd of people.

Tsubaki knew that people got separated a lot in busy places like that, but she was also pretty noticable, with her blue-green eyes and blonde hair that reached to the back of her knees. Since japanese people, like herself, were more likely to have brown or black eyes and dark hair, plus don't like to keep it that long, she kind of stuck out. It appeared that most people didn't like to keep it long though. Tsu fiddled with the brown ribbon she had in her hair while she was looking around, then she turned to Riku "Which way do you want to go?" She spent her free time going around the city, so she knew a lot of the way "Oh... I don't exactly know!" Tsu never pays attention to details like how large this city is.[/ul][/blockquote]

Riku kept pushing through the crowd trying to keep his pace with Tsubaki. "Umm I dunno, maybeh the school counsellor could help me? Or something like that?" Riku glanced around again being knocked down, but this time with enough force to push him on his back. The teenager that had pushed him seemed very angry. "Don't run into me idiot!" The teenager snapped at him. Riku stared more mainly trying to ignore him.
"You got nothing to say pal? huh?" The teenager then grabbed Riku by the shirt making a fist and lifting it towards Riku's face. Riku's heart beat began to race, he started remembering a few other incidents like this which was really why he usually stayed away from crowded places. The teenagers freinds began to laugh taunting the teenager to it. "Yeah man" "Yeah! Knock him out!"
Riku didn't want to fight, he didn't want to hurt anyone so he just stood here with a long look on his face.

She asked coldly, then simply walked over to the boy "You may want to release him, or else you'll have a direct decendant of the Hoshiko line to deal with boy" That was scary. Tsubaki had taken her last name from her mother, but had the blood of a Hoshiko, her father, in her. The Hoshiko family was known to have a strong ability for fighting, and were believed to be generally scary people. Tsubaki definitely used this for granted, because sometimes, with people like this, they needed to be scared. She grabbed the boy's wrist tightly "Release him, he didn't do anything to you, you were the one who pushed him." She squeezed hard on his wrist, something that Kaida had shown her. Putting pressure on a certain tendon with her thumb could force people to relax their grip. "And apologize." She glared harshly into the boys eyes.[/ul][/blockquote]

The teenager looked at Tsubaki awkwardly, you could feel that he was slightly nervous now. Riu had assumed that Tsubaki's family was well known due to the way she announced her blood-line. The boy shoved Riku back to the ground again. "Let's go, I don't fight with girls" The other grounp that had come with him followed, they gave Riku and Tsubaki some nast looks.
Riku just layed there from where he pushed rubbing his back, that boy had shoved him twice the second one Riku was scaught off guard. "Ow, How many act like that here?" Riku as obviously joking, he was just trying to make sure no one asked why he didn't defend himself yata yata.

She slightly clambered to hold out her hand to help him up "Uh... I'm not really all that violent... I'm just good at defending myself... runs in the family... haha" She laughed a little at is joke after the mumbled a little. Tsu was an oddball, but she was easy enough to get along with. "My father's side is known for it, that's the side my cousin's on!" She laughed a little and went to grab his guitar case for him off the ground "My cousin and her dad own the dojo where most of the family grew up at... it has one of those big entrances too! I'll have to show you eventually!" She laughed a little "My dad was kicked out once my uncle found out his wife was pregnant though" Kaida's father had obviously known that he would have been aggressive to Kaida, as he was with Tsubaki as well.[/ul][/blockquote]
