Haiiro was quiet for a bit as they walked, yet as Kaida started talking, he nodded a bit to himself at her words. After she had stated her last statement, he finally half smirked and nodded a bit slowly. "It was.... rather good...." he answered back feeling the snow crunch under his feet and the icy wind run past him. He could start to make out the train station area that he would have to go on to get to the observatory. Looking down at his clock, he already knew that he was probably going to be late..... Mentally sighing, the dark haired man managed to force half a smile.....damn......
"I'll........... be a bit late," he finally commented as he continued to walk but didn't pick up his pace any. He was starting to feel tired again and was chewing on the last of his jawbreaker rather slowly and thoughtfully. After a moment, he reached into his bag and got out another one before inserting it into his mouth and starting to work on it as he walked.
As they got to the train area, he turned back and looked at Kaida. "Are you going to stop here or come to the observatory?" he asked after a moment.

she said, still looking at the path ahead. She had decided not to look at anyone for a little bit, hearing the mother thanking them had just slightly made Kaida upset, so she wouldn't look at Haiiro for a few minutes. When Kaida got sad, she directed her gaze towards anything other than a person or animal that can look back at her. Kaida put her hand in her bag to start unwrapping another jawbreaker, popping it in her mouth as well. Sugar always made things less depressing, though it wasn't depressing. It was more of a happy emotion that made her sad because of why it was happy. Confusing, eh? Kaida looked up after he asked if she would be going with him "I might as well come with you, I have nothing better to do" she replied. There was nothing to do at her house, nothing to do outside that she really felt like doing, and there was no work to be done. She decided she would much rather go out somewhere with somebody than do nothing by herself. Life was pretty boring. [/ul][/blockquote]

Haii didn't say anything for a moment but nodded after a few more seconds. "Alright," he answered back and continued to start walking down the street again. He seemed to notice Kaida had gotten a bit more tense but was questioning whether or not to actually ask about it. After a bit, he finally turned his head back to her and found the words coming to his lips. "Something wrong?" he asked after a moment with a calm stare. However, if Kaida chose not to say anything, Haiiro wouldn't say anything back.
After a bit more, he found himself walking a bit faster, and soon enough they were close to the train station. Taking out his train pass that he used to get to the observatory every day, Haii scanned it and then walked through before looking for the right train. After locating it, he started towards it and then stepped on board. Feeling a bit better once his feet were actually stepping up onto the train, Haii let a breath out.

she said to him from behind him, where she was standing. Kaida wondered if Haiiro would mind if she sat next to him. She knew that some people did mind that, but she wondered about it this time. Wait... why was she thinking about this again?[/ul][/blockquote]

Haii stepped onto the train and then began walking down the aisle before finally finding a row of empty seats and sitting down at the one closest to the window. He liked watching the scenery pass by but wouldn't openly admit that at any given time. Leaning an elbow on the window and staring out, he became rather quiet not saying anything.
The train slowly started to move, and the general motion made Haii breathe out again quietly. He'd been on plenty of trains and wasn't fazed much by them at all. A speaker at the top of the train began to start projecting a voice over the general rules of the train and what not. However, Haii already knew them all too well and wasn't so much as listening to them as staring out the window rather blankly and wondering what he was going to do when he got to work. The gentle motion of the train seemed to be slightly luling, yet Haii refused to fall asleep again and was actively biting at his jawbreaker to keep himself awake.

she asked him, just to make sure she had something to occupy herself from the feeling of wanting to sleep. Kaida, through all her wandering around, also knew the rules of being on a train, so she didn't pay attention to the bored sounding voice on the speaker. She also knew that she sometimes fell asleep on the train as it slowly made it way to her destination. She hoped that wouldn't happen, because she usually fell asleep on whatever was the warmest thing around her, and that would have been Haiiro. That would have been embarrassing. Haiiro blinked and snapped back into reality at the question before turning his head towards Kaida and registering the words in his mind fully. "Usually until around two in the morning. Sometimes later given certain days," he answered back remembering how he had gotten home later during the week. After a moment more, he looked back out the window and started to zone out again rather quietly to himself.
The gentle rocking of the train was starting to make him tired as well, but he ignored this and focused on biting at his jawbreaker rather hard. If he wasn't careful, he literally would break his jaw... or maybe his teeth... possibly both, heh, and that would cost money to fix which neither Haii nor Ryo nor Saiyo for that matter had the money to pay. Slowly realizing this and letting up on his jaw and teeth a bit, Haii began to relax a bit more.

she said to him "You still go to school even though you work until that late?" she asked, leaning her head against the chair, but still looking at him. She wondered what would happen if the conversation stopped and she fell asleep. Would he wake her up, or not? She hoped he would, if she fell asleep to the gentle movement. Kaida moved her gaze from Haiiro to the window that was next to him, watching the area outside zoom by. Maybe that would make her less tired, but it just made her want to go to sleep more. After that hadn't worked, Kaida started moving her leg a little, still trying not to fall asleep. Kaida must of been more tired than she realized, or she just hadn't felt tired earlier. She was wondering how Haiiro kept himself awake during the day, with a job like that. She wouldn't be able to take a job like that, because she wanted to get good grades in school, and get a good amount of sleep. [/blockquote][/ul]

Haiiro was quiet for a bit more but eventually nodded a bit. "Yes," he answered back as he continued to stare out the window not really saying much of anything else. It wasn't in his nature to usually say more than that unless asked. Suddenly Haiiro found his pocket vibrating. Pulling his phone out of his pocket, the dark haired man stared at the phone for a few minutes reading a text from Saiyo stating something about going out with a girl friend of hers that night and not to worry about dinner.
Mentally sweat dropping, he texted her back and wrote out that she should probably be texting Ryo that instead of him. In another moment, he got another text back with the words 'oppsie tehehehe' on it and breathed out shaking his head a bit but not really saying anything else.
After a moment more, he slid his phone in his pocket again and heard the loud speaker state that they would be there in a few minutes and to get things ready. Stretching a bit, Haii half shrugged his shoulders a bit before looking out the window again.

In truth, for a few seconds, Haiiro hadn't noticed that Kaida was asleep on him, yet after those seconds were up, his dark blue eyes shifted over to her, and he blinked a moment. He was used to Saiyo sometimes falling asleep on train rides when she went with him to the observatory, but this one was a new on him. After a moment, he seemed to poke her in the ribs and then on the face. "You shouldn't sleep," he stated aloud. "We'll be there in a few minutes........."
After a moment, the train started to slow down, and Haiiro kept poking and prodding Kaida to get up seeing as they were now there. Several people behind them were already rising and getting ready to get off the train. The sound of motion was becoming prevelant in that moment.

she said and jumped off of him and stood up. She knew that was coming! Stupid train, being all slow and stuff. That was slightly new for Kaida too, as when she went on the trains she never sat near people. She wouldn't have slept on their shoulder, because they wouldn't be there "I'm so sorry Haiiro" she said again and put her hand on the back of her head, smiling to him nervously. Kaida looked at the people who started standing up and looked out the window, noticing that everything was slowing down "uh... guess we better get off... huh?" she asked Haiiro, still holding her hand behind her head.[/ul][/blockquote]

Haiiro nodded slowly and then rose before starting to move past Kaida and off the train. "Ya..." he stated aloud before looking down at his watch again and breathing out slowly. He was... ten minutes late.... Great. After a moment, he shook his head and then started off the train not bothering to rush at least for now. Once he was off the train, he walked out onto the platform and then started out of the station itself.
He didn't say much of anything even as he walked down the street. The observatory was coming into site now, and he was walking a tad faster than before if only a little. After a moment, he remembered that Kaida was following as well and began to talk again. "Just a bit farther..." he stated aloud possibly more to himself than to her even then.

she said to him again. Kaida seemed very apologetic today, and she didn't know why. Maybe she was just in an apologetic mood. "Alright..." she responded to what he had said anyways, though it didn't sound like it was directed at her. She followed him, looking at the snowy path while twirling her finger through her dark hair once again. She sighed and started walking with her eyes closed.[/ul][/blockquote]

Haii wasn't used to apologizing people and therefore didn't seem to react if at all to it. Instead, he walked just a tad faster still, and soon enough, they were at the observatory. Stepping inside, Haii sighed outwards and then walked towards the worker's check in. In a few more seconds, he had checked in and was walking back with a rather dark look on his face.
However, a few seconds later, he pushed this aside and forced a calmer look to take form on his face. "Alright... I have to get to working," he finally stated before turning and starting off towards the telescope rooms. He had to check on all the machines and everything of that nature before he could actually start his regular job there at the observatory.
Walking into the engine room, he began to start going over the different machines and things checking the power and other parts of it. As he did so, he stopped and frowned finding that there was a gear that needed to be oiled in order for the telescope to move about. Sighing, he disappeared into a back room and then came back to start working on it. All the time, he hadn't noticed if Kaida had followed him or what, exactly. He had simply gone to work as he said he would.
