she asked him, holding her own hands in front of her with her head tilted as she watched him. Hopefully he wouldn't think she was like some stalker, and it was creepy that she was watching him work, because all she was was curious. Well, curiousity did kill the cat. Kaida crossed one of her feet behind the other and rested that one on her toes, tilting the rest of her body with it a little and her hair swayed slightly with her change in posture. Usually Kaida was standing up with her back straight and both feet set solid on the ground, shoulders back, but she decided that she would much rather not do that right then.[/ul][/blockquote]

Haii stopped in mid process for a moment and turned his head to see Kaida still there. He was quiet for a moment before nodding slowly an answer back. "Yes," he finished back. "I work on a lot of the smaller things around here..." Looking back at the machine, he backed up again and then moved to another one with a fluidity about him that was far more peaceful now. "I also set up things for the scientists that work around here and do tours and the like," he continued on as he started to work yet another machine.
After a few seconds more, he moved on again and then again. After a moment, he checked over a smaller telescope before finally coming towards the larger one in the center of the room. After a moment, he looked into the telescope and saw the familiar blackness that he saw when it wasn't on just yet. He chuckled to himself and then went on to work on another.
A few scientists moved in and out of the main rooms and waved. Haii'd look up and wave as well before going back to his work again.

she said as she watched him work. It wasn't like she wanted his job instead of her's, it just sounded fun. Kaida liked her jobs as a teacher and a waitress. They were fun, even if she had to step out of her own personality for a bit. She got to meet people, and they were both pretty busy. Her teaching job made her feel closer to her father than she usually felt, and she was grateful for having the option of teaching with him. It appeared Kaida took a liking to following Haiiro around, even if they weren't talking much. She was following him as he worked, watching what he did. When the scientists waved at him she just looked over to them and over to him to see his reaction "The people seem nice here" she said to him after one of the scientists had waved and Haiiro responded with a wave as well. "I've worked here a long time," Haiiro answered back as he continued to work. After a bit, he had finished looking through all the machines and then opened a different door before entering and coming into a computer room. His eyes scaled over the entire room and then he started to walk the area looking for anything out of the ordinary. He didn't use the computers here, yet he was supposed to make sure that everything seemed in order.
"It's a stable job of sorts," Haii finished his previous thought before looking towards Kaida. He had been working there for a few years, and he was glad to have a job that wasn't going to disappear just yet. He had to bring in at least enough money to pay for the rent or it..... ya.... He didn't say anything much after that thought.
Moving this thought aside after a moment, he half smiled back at Kaida and then looked back again. "Sorry if I'm boring you...." He found himself saying it, yet in truth, Haiiro wasn't really. He was there for work, and that was what he had to do.

she said "even if you were, I know you have a job to do" she added, holding her hands behind her back as she continued to follow him through the computers. She stayed away though, because she knew he was inspecting things, and she could mess things up. That wouldn't have been good. Kaida hasn't been working for as long as he has, at least in the cafe. She has only been working there for half a year, and she didn't even need the job. She just got the job to make her father proud of her going into something other than fighting and dancing, it also got her a littl extra money on top of the money her father gave her. She was planning on saving her money to get into university, just to keep her options open for when she gets older. "One good thing comes from having me as a puppy, at least" she said to him as she followed "If you need anything, just ask me, alright?" she added "Not saying that you would need it, just saying you might want something" obviously, that's not what she meant. She bet Haiiro was good at his job, because he had been there for a long time, according to him. [/ul][/blockquote]

Haii blinked for a moment and then looked at Kaida confused as to why she was talking in that way but simply allowed himself to nod slowly and then started towards a different room all together. It was in the next hallway, and he had to step into said hallway and down it for a few seconds to actually get to the room. However, he knew the path way well enough to all but do it without thought.
After a moment, he came to the door and simply held it open and waited for Kaida to enter rather than simply rushing. He had looked over all the major things he had to, and now there was only a little bit more here and there that he had to look over before he could start his actual rounds of simply helping out scientists or anyone who needed it in the vicinity, really.

After Kaida'd entered, Haii followed suit and came into a mapping room with several different constellations set out on a wall not far off. Haii stared at them for a few seconds and then started over towards a desk before starting to go through the papers rather smoothly. He made a motion with his head towards the wall with the large maps on them.
"Most of the scientists use them to map out different stars and things," he stated aloud before beginning to flip through a few papers before finally finding open and pulling it out. Walking towards the wall, he placed said papers on the board and then stepped back before going towards the table again.
"Several scientists have a thing for which charts go where when they get into work, so I set them up," he commented aloud after setting up yet another paper. Finished with that, he sighed outwards finding that the loose ends were starting to be tied up.
"Anyways...." he began before looking towards Kaida. "Do you want an official tour now?" he asked with a half smile.

she didn't know that he would give her a tour of the place. He hadn't said anything about that to her "Sure, I'll come" she added, putting her finger in her hair and twirling it a little. Wait... was this kind of like they were going out on a date?! If it was, Kaida would have probably had a nervous breakdown right infront of him. She was glad that it wasn't really a date date, they were just hanging out. Right?[/ul][/blockquote]

Haii nodded and then made to walk towards the door outwards again. "Alright then," he confirmed before holding the door open again and then starting into the hallway. Walking back down the hall, Haii took several turns and then ended up at the main observatory room once more. Stepping off towards the machines, he began to press a few things, and the large telescope in the center of the room seemed to suddenly come to life. Motioning towards it, Haii looked towards Kaida again. "Since all the sensors are on, you should be able to look through it," he stated aloud with a calm and even voice as he nodded to himself at this.
In truth, he had showed someone else the telescopes before, but it was a rare thing, in truth. When there were larger groups of tourists, he simply talked about the telescope and sometimes raised the floor levels just as a joke of sorts to keep people at peace, but he didn't turn on the telescopes.... It usually got him in trouble, heh... Oh well....He could easily pull something off if a scientist walked in and found it.....maybe....hopefully.

she asked before putting her eye to the telescope. Kaida had never used a telescope before. She wasn't very interested in it, but it did look cool, looking through the telescope. Maybe she should go to the observatory more often, maybe then she would learn how cool things were. Well, things that are about stars and stuff. Kaida and her mother used to look at the stars a lot from Kaida's yard, near a cherry blossom tree that was there so it would smell like the pink blossoms. Kaida liked cherry blossoms, they reminded her of her mother. Kaida's mother was cute in her personality, but pretty in her looks. She was pretty quiet and shy when it came to new people, but around Kaida she would always be smiling and teaching her things. This kind of reminded Kaida of cherry blossoms, as they were cute and pretty at the same time. [/ul][/blockquote]

"Doubt it," Haii answered back remembering the fact that if anyone noticed, he'd always just push on his credentials of sorts. It... would be fine, heh. As all the machines finally went into running, Haii moved the telescope into the position for one to see the Cor Leonis as well as the surrounding stars. The constellations came easy to him, and math and science seemed to come just as easily, heh.
In truth, if Haii didn't work at the observatory later in life, he wouldn't mind at all working at some physics and math area or something of the like. Though some of his language sucked (especially English which he was notable for butchering on certain occasions), Haii relished the ease at which math and science came to him.
After a moment more, he changed the settings and began to show different star sets and even named a few of them as he went. Just as he had thought, no one walked in to question it.

she asked, tilting her head at him and holding her hands behind her back. Kaida was glad that he wouldn't get in trouble for doing this, or at least it was doubtful he would. Kaida already made him late, she didn't feel like making him get into any more trouble. ((I'm sorry, I broke my own rule, but muse problems.... D: ))[/ul][/blockquote]

The dark haired man was quiet for a moment as though he were thinking over the question. In truth, he really didn't have a favorite... They were all pretty.. and well... ya... heh. After a moment, he slowly turned off the machines once more and then looked back towards her. Shaking his head a bit, he smiled a little. "Not really," he answered back. "They're all rather interesting...." With that, he finished turning everything off again and then started to walk towards a door rather easily. "What do you like to do?" he asked after a pause in thinking of what he actually wanted to say next. Well, that was slightly off topic, but oh well.
[Short post is short Dx but oh well...]

((It's alright. Mine was like... four words long xDDDDD )) she said to him "I think I might like plaing my instruments a little better then the rest of the things I like..." Kaida had a large amount of musical instruments that she could play in a room at her house. Her father had never sound proofed the room, because that way he could hear her play. Kaida's parents were not very musically talented, but Kaida was different from them in that way. Kaida walked behind Haiiro, following him to the door "Yeah, they are pretty interesting" she said to him.[/ul][/blockquote]
